Grenoble and Clermont Foot shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Stade des Alpes on Friday evening in Ligue 2's seventh round of fixtures, with the equaliser arriving in the 90th minute plus three added minutes.

Grenoble took the lead on 19 minutes through an own goal from Y. Salmier, and that advantage held at the break to give the home side a 1-0 half-time lead. The score remained in Grenoble's favour as the match entered stoppage time, but A. Hunou struck for Clermont Foot at 90+3 to level proceedings and ensure the points were shared.

In the Ligue 2 table, Grenoble sit 13th after seven matches, with two wins, two draws and three defeats giving them eight points. Clermont Foot are placed 15th, also after seven games, with six draws and one defeat leaving them on six points. The two sides are separated by two points in the standings, and both clubs are in the bottom third of the 18-team division.

Clermont's draw was their fifth consecutive such result, according to the last five matches recorded in the table, and they are yet to win in seven outings this season. Grenoble's recent form reads win, draw, loss, win, loss across their last five outings, leaving them with eight points from seven matches played.
