FC Dallas and Austin played out a goalless draw at Toyota Stadium on Sunday, with the Major League Soccer regular season fixture ending 0-0 at half-time and at full time.

The result is a second successive draw for FC Dallas, who sit fourth in the 30-team MLS table with 44 points from 26 matches. Their record stands at 12 wins, eight draws and six defeats, with 49 goals scored and 42 conceded. Their last five results read: drawn, won, won, won, drawn.

Austin, meanwhile, occupy 11th place in the table with 30 points from their 26 outings. The visitors have seven wins, nine draws and ten defeats to their name this season, with 32 goals scored and 44 conceded. Austin arrive at this result off the back of a run that reads: drawn, won, drawn, drawn, won.

The 14-point gap between the two sides is visible in their respective positions, with FC Dallas in the top third of the table and Austin placed in mid-table. Despite that difference in standing, neither side was able to find a goal on the day in Texas.

FC Dallas now have eight draws from 26 league appearances this campaign, while Austin's tally of nine draws from the same number of matches makes them one of the more frequently drawn sides in the division. Sunday's result adds another shared point to both clubs' tallies as the regular season continues.
