Cesena and Catanzaro meet at the Stadio Dino Manuzzi on Saturday afternoon in the eleventh round of the Serie B regular season, with the two sides sitting at markedly different ends of the table heading into the fixture.

Cesena occupy 12th place with 12 points from ten matches, their record showing two wins, six draws and two defeats. Their goal tally stands at 11 scored and 14 conceded. The hosts have taken five points from their last five matches, a run that includes a win over Empoli and draws with Sudtirol and Avellino, alongside defeats to Modena and Benevento.

Catanzaro arrive in a considerably more difficult position. The visitors sit 20th in the 20-team table with just six points from ten matches — six fewer than Cesena — having won once, drawn three times and lost six. Their goals record reads 11 scored and 22 conceded. Catanzaro are currently in the bottom two of the table and have managed only three points from their last five matches, though they do arrive on the back of two consecutive draws, most recently a 1-1 result at home to Padova and a 1-1 draw away at Benevento. Their worst result in that run was a 1-6 defeat to Ascoli.

The recent head-to-head record between these two sides is split. When they last met, on 21 March 2026, Cesena won 3-1. The previous encounter, on 27 December 2025, ended 2-0 to Catanzaro.

With Cesena sitting mid-table and Catanzaro placed in the bottom two, the six-point gap between the clubs gives Saturday's match clear significance in the Serie B table at this stage of the regular season.
